I am still in China back from Japan and going soon to India and the Philippines. I am doing private comedy performances and making my comedy FILM. I can t believe I am also learning Chinese 4 hours a day..it is getting mixed up with my Japanese.
Learning Chinese is the hardest thing someone can do in life, just after stand up and being a mountain climber with no ropes..well ok maybe not..but I just suggest you try. After a few months, I STILL have problems getting my point across each time I take a taxi.
I do miss doing stand up in the states and watching good stand up.
A friend s going to give me some live perf' of Ricky Gervais and one of the best comedians/producers out there I think...Larry David. This is one guy I really hope to play opposite to. I also want to play opposite to Jeff Bridges AND Chris Rock, Pierre Richard and I jUST Wish that Fernandel , Richard prRyor or Louis de Funes were still alive. Nobody have been that good since those guys. Well I d hope I could also do something oppositive Depardieu or Eddie Murphy or Takeshi Kitano.
It is truly fascinating after 4 years in Hollywood to be in China. I only took a break in Africa for 5 weeks in January 07 where I learned boxing for the boxing. Here I am doing muy thai boxing with the world champion. I am also doing bikhram yoga with the world champion of yoga, yes I can t believe there is a world champion but there is. She has not mixed a day of practising for the last 10 years. That s called dedication.
