I have never worked so hard in my life, never got so stressed (twice open my forehead + silent mental stroke) or slept so little but in the process I lived 9 months in China, went back to Japan twice, HK twice, Germany, UK, Cannes and Paris for 5 months.
The whole time was devoted to making the movie Klaus Pierre. I got time to also jump start the next movies (trailor shot in Germany already) and learning a bit of Chinese and getting back to my Japanese. I do mixe them up now and if you know Japanese or Chinese people it is not really a cool..thing to do but hey what can I do? My goal would be from now on to do a movie a year or every 18 months overseas for a few months..I already dream of South America, Russia, Africa and I am already working on possible opportunities. In the meantime it is now time to send the movie to festivals, study distribution deeply and got back to my love and trade, stand up comedy..I have about 18 months of comedy notes to check out and sort it through..this will take all summer long..my comedy is more than ever about International Cultural Differences..I had a chance to do stand up while filming in Paris, Tokyo, China..I learned so much about the world. When you live in Hollywood you think the world is non-existant besides tinseltown..even though I had travelled and lived extensively all over the world before Hollywood..yet you forget.that and think America is the onlycountry on earth..everything else being just..Anyway great to be back..
