French Cliches

People in America don't have the best view of the French. We smell bad, we don't know how to fight, we just like to make love all day, we just like to sit at a cafe, we hate americans, we're hairy, we're dirty, we're arrogant... blah blah blah

But French people don't have the best view of Americans either. Americans are superficial, they have no culture, they're ready to shoot anybody, they're puritans, they have no sense of beauty, they don't know how to live life, they're greedy...

Complaining in France isn't just part of the culture...it's an ART. In 90% of all French conversations, they are complaining about something or anything. If you don't complain people think something's wrong with you, it is THAT bad.
